Vanessa Carvalho

Bio:

Vanessa Carvalho is an experienced lawyer in the fields of Labor and Social Security Law. She has had a successful career in auditing and consulting firms (BIG-4), where she led significant projects for medium to large national and global companies in industries such as manufacturing, retail, and services. She was responsible for developing and structuring departments, work methodologies, and teams in her various roles.

Throughout her career, she has overseen numerous reviews of fiscal labor and social security issues that impact the corporate environment. Her work includes compliance projects, M&A, assessment of payroll-related taxation, labor union routines and practices, cost optimization and quality assessment, internal controls, processes and people management, HR policy implementation, support in corporate restructuring, and tax accounting in labor and social security matters.

Vanessa possesses in-depth knowledge of labor and social security fiscal legislation, including its accounting perspective. She is a member of the labor and social security study groups at Largo São Francisco: GETRAB-USP and GETRAB-PREV-USP, and has been involved in the pilot groups for e-Social and EFD-REINF since 2009. Vanessa leads the Labor and Social Security practice at the firm.
