In September 2020, the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE) approved with no restrictions the purchase by Supermercados BH of 14 stores and three fuel stations of the Sales Supermercados group, which is headquartered in Barbacena, Minas Gerais. The transaction amount was BRL 110M. All units purchased will operate under the BH label, which has 205 stores spread throughout the state of Minas Gerais. This purchase will allow the expansion of the network in the interior of Minas Gerais, as well as its arrival in new cities in the region of Campo das Vertentes and Zona da Mata. In the region, the label already has units in the cities of Lafaiete and Juiz de Fora.
