Décio Andrade

Bio:

Décio Andrade is an experienced lawyer in Corporate Law, Property Management and Succession Planning, Mergers and Acquisitions (national and international), Foreign Investment, and Real Estate Business. He holds a degree in Law from Universidade Paulista (UNIP) and specializes in Real Estate Law and Real Estate Procedures from Escola Superior de Advocacia, Faculdades Metropolitanas Unidas (FMU), Ordem dos Advogados do Brasil, and the Department of Constitutional Law of Universidade de São Paulo (USP), among other institutions.

A member of Miguel Neto Advogados since 1998, Décio undeniably carries the DNA of the firm and stands out for multidisciplinary legal advice and for understanding the needs of the clients he serves. He advises family groups and corporate clients from various sectors and industries, including infrastructure (welding, engineering, and construction), hospital, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics, food and beverage, IT, mining, and service providers, among others.
Throughout his professional career, Décio has accumulated numerous M&A transactions, both domestic and international, having developed remarkable skills in the negotiation rounds inherent to these processes.

Décio also leads the Real Estate practice of Miguel Neto Advogados, advising numerous individuals and companies (local and foreign) on buying or selling residential, non-residential, and rural properties, commercial buildings, shopping malls, distribution centers, factories, and condominiums, as well as developing real estate projects for allotments, incorporation, built to suit, hotel networks, greenfield and brownfield projects, and structured operations with the participation of investment funds.

Together with Miguel Neto, Décio co-leads the practice of Property Management and Succession Planning of the firm, regularly assisting family groups on issues related to property organization, legal regularization of real estate assets and properties, property protection, set up of holdings or equity funds, always aiming at preserving the property over time and from generation to generation.
